A senior Iranian official says the Islamic Republic has been the "main victim" of the Western-sponsored terrorism and has lost a number of its nuclear scientists in terrorist attacks carried out by Israeli agents.

Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Sunday that Tehran fully abides by the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, which defines a framework for diplomatic relations between independent countries.

He stressed Iran’s resolve and determination in the campaign against terrorism.

He also described the fight against terrorism as an international commitment, calling on all world countries to lend weight to the campaign.

Mehmanparast also voiced Iran’s readiness to cooperate with Indian authorities in bringing to justice those involved in the bomb attack that ripped through New Delhi last month.
