A Los Angles (LA) cinema in Californian is displaying an Iranian film named 'A Cube of Sugar' directed by Seyed Reza Mir-Karimi.

'A Cube of Sugar' that went on LA silver screen on Sunday will be shown for one week and after that will be screened in Orange County in the state of California.

Mirkarimi's dramatic comedy is about a family who lives in an old Iranian city and recounts the story of their efforts to deal with different problems and incidents.

The film was also screened at the 2011 Montreal International Film Festival, the 2011 edition of Busan International film festival in South Korea and the 17th Vilnius International Film Festival in Lithuania.

The film narrates the life story of a family in the face of different accidents.

Reza Kiyanian, Negar Javaherian, Farhad Aslani and Rima Raminfar are in the cast of the film, which was screened in 29th International Fajr Film Festival last year.
