The 65th Cannes International Film Festival is scheduled to display the Iranian movie, "A Respectable Family", directed by Massoud Bakhshi.

The movie directed by Massoud Bakhshi and produced by Mohammad Afarideh is to be shown in "Directors' Fortnight" section of the event twice as the only representative from Iran.

The movie is about an academic who returns to his homeland to teach in Shiraz.

The Iranian director Abaas Kiarostami, a Cannes favorite, is turning Japanese in his new film, titled 'Like Someone in Love', chronicling a 24-hour encounter in Tokyo between an old Japanese man and a young lady.

Kiarostami's movie, jointly produced by France and Japan, would be showcased twice in the event.
