Denial of a Quoted Statement Attributed to Kamal Kharrazi

The office of the President of Iran’s Foreign Policy Strategic Council has denied a report published in a newspaper quoting Seyed Kamal Kharrazi.

Seyed Ali Naqi Kharrazi, commonly known as Kamal Kharrazi, is an Iranian politician associated with reformist views. His background includes serving as Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, membership in the Foreign Policy Strategic Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Secretary of the Cognitive Sciences and Technologies Development Headquarters, and Iran’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations.
