Iranian athletes bag 3 medals in Asian Taekwondo Championships

Iranian taekwondo athletes won a gold and two bronze medals on Friday in the first day of Asian Taekwondo Championships in South Korea.

Iran’s Nahid Kiani in -53k category became Asia’s champion after winning 2-0 in her final combat.

Also, Zahra Sheydai in -57k category couldn’t make it to the finals, but won a bronze medal.

Danyal Bozorgi in -68k beat a Korean and an Afghan rival, but lost in the semifinal stage and received a bronze medal.
