The wrestling competitions in the 97kg and 130kg weight categories for Iran’s team were held on Thursday.

In the 97kg weight category, Mohammad-Hadi Saravi overcame contesters from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan to reach the final.

Then, he defeated a Chinese athlete 5-1 in the final match and won the gold medal.
