Hamas operation first stage of Israeli regime’s collapse: IRGC chief

The chief commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has described the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas as the first stage of the impending collapse of the Zionist regime of Israel.

“Today, the Zionist regime has not only suffered defeat, but also been humiliated, and Hamas alone and without relying on any other power, has inflicted a heavy defeat upon them,” Major General Hossein Salami said on Monday.

Hamas launched an unprecedented retaliatory attack against the Israeli regime on October 7, firing thousands of rockets towards the Israeli occupied Palestinian territories while also infiltrating Israeli military bases and illegal settlements.

General Salami said that the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm represents the initial stage of the rapid downfall of the fake Zionist regime.

He pointed out that the fake identity of the Zionist regime has now crumbled, leaving behind nothing more than an empty shell.

General Salami emphasized that no efforts by the Zionists will repair the degradation of the Israeli regime, whose arrogance collapsed with Hamas' operation.

The IRGC chief made it clear that bombing civilian buildings is not a sign of strength in any rational sense.
