Amirabdollahian, who has traveled to Turkmenistan, met and talked with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow.

In this meeting, Amirabdollahian emphasized the importance and priority of developing relations with neighbors, especially Turkmenistan, in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He gave a positive assessment of the growing trend of bilateral relations, and the measures taken by the relevant Iranian authorities to implement the agreements between the two countries, including in the economic fields.
