Araghchi headed a diplomatic delegation to Jeddah to attend an extraordinary meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member states.

The purpose of this meeting is to examine the humanitarian disaster in Gaza, coordinate the provision of urgent aid, and also examine the legal and political dimensions of the Zionist regime's intention to permanently occupy Gaza.
