The text of the Foreign Ministry's statement is as follows:
Recalling the legal and moral responsibility of the international community to confront the ongoing genocide in Gaza in accordance with the "1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide" as well as the legal and moral responsibility of each state to assist the legitimate and lawful struggle of the Palestinian people in order to realize the right to self-determination and freedom from the yoke of occupation, apartheid, and colonialism of the Zionist regime, the Iranian Foreign Ministry has always supported any initiative that includes stopping ethnic cleansing and war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza and paves the way for the realization of the right to self-determination for the Palestinian people
