Iran urges Muslim nations to act on crimes committed by Zionists

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has urged Islamic countries to take an integrated action in order to put an end to crimes committed by the Zionist regime.

Amirabdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with visiting secretary general of the Palestinian movement Islamic Jihad Ziad al-Nakhala on Monday.

He congratulated Nakhala on the recent victory of the resistance fighters in the 5-day war in Gaza against the Ziuonists, adding that unity among resistance groups was key to achieving the victory.

The diplomat dubbed Palestine as the pivotal issue of the Islamic world and reiterated Iran’s support for the cause of Palestine and the Holy Quds and its support for the Palestinians’ legitimate resistance against the Zionist occupation.

Amirabdollahian described the racist Zionist regime as the main source of insecurity and instability in the West Asia region and called for a coordinated and effective action by Islamic countries and governments to stop the Zionists' crimes against the oppressed Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, al-Nakhala said that the Palestinian resistance groups are in their best conditions ever with regards to preparation and unity against the Zionist regime.

They are able to stand against any aggression of the usurping Zionist regime and to achieve great victories with the firm support of the Palestinian people, he stressed.
