Iran's Minister of Intelligence Heydar Moslehi said on Saturday that persons who were involved in the sudden rise of foreign exchange and gold price in the country have been identified.

According to Khabar Online political correspondent, Moslehi spoke of actions taken by his ministry to identify those behind the scene of the confusion in foreign currency and gold market of Iran.

"Thanks God, by taking such measures, we have achieved a positive outcome which will be announced in a convenient time," he said without giving further explanation.

Responding to the question about those who were responsible for the confusion and fluctuation in the market, Iran's Minister of Intelligence stated: "You should be patient to receive the answer, it cannot be described at the moment."

Moslehi then commented on the idea expressed by some economic analysts that what is called "the deviant economic current" is held accountable for a high fluctuation in the markets of foreign currency and gold.

"Obviously some measures are being taken both inside and outside the country to make people disappointed, among them is creating chaos and problems in the economic climate of the country,” he said.

According to the Principalist factions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the deviation current is led by the controversial Ahmadinejad's top adviser and his right-hand man Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei.

In several occasions, Mashaei has been accused of attempting to reduce the pivotal role of jurisprudents (Foqaha) in the political scene of the Islamic Republic of Iran through insisting on the nationalist strain of Iranian culture and history.
Some members of this current up also were charged and arrested for involvement in sorcery. However the new label "the deviant economic current" has been used to describe their economic plots and activities.

Earlier last year, the resignation of Moslehi over a dispute with Ahmadinejad caused a difference at the level of country’s top officials.

The resignation was approved by Ahmadinejad, but Ayatollah Khamenei who has the final say in all matters of the Islamic Republic reinstated Moslehi and backed him to carry out his duty.

Then Ahmadinejad's refused to attend from cabinet meetings for two consecutive weeks. His absence was a clear protest to the reinstatement of Moslehi.
