Saudi Arabia’s new ambassador submits credential to Iranian FM

Saudi Arabia’s new ambassador to Iran, Abdullah bin Saud al-Anzi met with Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Sunday, submitting a copy of his credential to him.

Abdullah bin Saud al-Anzi arrived in Tehran last Tuesday to take the responsibility of his country’s embassy in Iran.

Previously, Al-Anzi served as Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Oman.

Upon his arrival to Tehran last Tuesday, the ambassador has said, “The directives of the Saudi leadership stress the need to strengthen bilateral relations”.

“Saudi Arabia and Iran are two neighboring countries with economic potentials, natural resources and many advantages that help to promote the development and prosperity, stability and security in the region for the benefit of the two countries and nations,” he added.

Moreover, Iran’s new ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Alireza Enayati arrived in Riyadh last Tuesday, starting his mission in this Arab country.
