Amirabdollahian made the remark on the sidelines of his visit to earthquake-stricken areas and a temporary accommodation camp set up by the Islamic Republic of Iran in Adiyaman city in Turkiye on Wednesday.
He addressed correspondents as saying that the camp that "we inspected was set up by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and that the Red Crescent Society of Iran and the Iranian Army played key roles in searching and aiding quake-hit people", as well as providing them with clinical and healthcare services on-time and very effective.
Upon my arrival in Ankara, the Turkish officials and people expressed gratitude to the Iranians, he added.
The Iranian foreign minister expressed hope that the Muslim nation of Turkiye would leave behind the crisis as soon as possible.
He further appreciated the Red Crescent Society of Iran for their agility to dispatch one of the first teams to the quake-hit areas and succeeded in rescuing several lives.
FM Amirabdollahian arrived in Turkiye on Tuesday to meet the Turkish authorities and renew solidarity with the neighboring country.
