Iran's FM warns against continuity of Zionists' crimes

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has warned of the war crimes by the Zionist regime against the oppressed Palestinians.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and his Lebanese counterpart Abdullah Buhabib on Friday held a press conference after their meeting in Beirut during Amirabdollahian's regional tour for talks focusing on the Gaza war.

Iran's top diplomat in the press conference, warned that if the war crimes of the Zionist regime will not be stopped, any possibility is conceivable.

Stating that the world nowadays is witnessing a war crime against the Palestinian people in Gaza,  he said: We agreed that this crime against innocent people should be stopped and an urgent meeting should be held at the level of Islamic countries.

This Iranian official emphasized that the US side, by sending different messages to different directions in the region, wants restraint and to prevent the expansion of the scope of the war, but it is ridiculous and funny that while recommending restraint, the criminal Netanyahu's regime is involved in killing  Palestinian women and children in Gaza.

Amirabdollahian said that the US cannot send weapons and bombs to kill Palestinians with one hand and call on other parties to keep restraint with the other side.

The Lebanese side, for his part, said in the press conference that everyone should put pressure on Israel so that the Zionists end the war, and stability in the region can only be achieved through a just path for Palestine.

Buhabib added that both sides in their meeting have talked about the Gaza issue and preventing the scope of the war

This Lebanon's senior diplomat added: We stand by the Palestinian people and demand an end to the siege of Gaza and condemn the crimes of the Zionist regime.

Amirabdollahian has embarked on a regional tour, starting with Iraq, to discuss the ongoing situation in the Palestinian territories, including the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to severe airstrikes by the Zionist regime over the past six days.

Amirabdollahian departed from Tehran for Baghdad on Thursday, where he met with high-ranking Iraqi officials, including his counterpart Fuad Hussein.

Following his visit to Iraq, the Iranian diplomat proceeded to Lebanon and held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati, and Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on Friday morning
