Troop pullout aims to prepare for Rafah invasion: Israeli war minister

The Zionist regime's Kan channel cited Gallant after the Israel military said it pulled out thousands of soldiers from southern Gaza, including from war-ravaged Khan Yunis city.

We will reach a situation where Hamas will no longer have control over the Gaza Strip and will not operate as a military (resistance) entity that is a danger to Israel, Gallant claimed.

Earlier, the Israeli media cited military sources as saying that three brigades have left Khan Yunis after the end of their operations but the 162nd division of the army has remained there to prevent displaced Palestinians from returning to their homes in the north.

The Israeli military said a "significant force" will remain in the rest of the besieged Gaza Strip. At the same time, Channel 14 of the Zionist regime also reported that the attacks in the coming weeks will be aerial, and if necessary, a ground attack will also be carried out.

Meanwhile, the military wing of the Hamas resistance movement said Israel was forced to end its operations before achieving any goals in more than six months of genocidal war on the besieged territory.

The al-Qassam Brigades also dismissed Israel’s claims that it has destroyed resistance forces in those areas from where it has withdrawn. It said that resistance forces have always surprised Israel.
