Expressing satisfaction with the growing trend of Iran-Libya relations, the two sides emphasized the importance of strengthening relations in all areas of interest.

Referring to the history of good relations between the two nations, Araghchi expressed hope that with the stabilization of political and security conditions in Libya, relations between Iran and Libya will expand in all areas.

The Vice Chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council also appreciated Iran's principled positions on the need to respect Libyan national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and emphasized the determination of the new Libyan leadership to expand relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting, the two sides also exchanged views on the situation in the Islamic world, especially the issue of occupied Palestine, and the need for greater cooperation and synergy among Islamic countries to stop the genocide of Palestinians and effectively confront the Zionist regime's warmongering against Islamic countries.
